Rescale (YC W12) is hiring a security-focused software engineer

Our customers entrust Rescale with their mission-critical engineering designs and it is essential that we keep the platform as secure as possible. We are looking for a generalist software engineer who has experience, or interest in, building and maintaining secure services that follow industry best practices. As a senior member of the team, you will get to drive requirements and design as well as work on implementation.

Responsibilities: - Identify and define platform security requirements

- Design and implement platform security architecture

- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols

- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities

- Ensure that security monitoring systems are in place and effective

- Willing to get your hands dirty in the code. Our stack consists of a set of Java and Python services
