Ask HN: What should 20 (danish) students see in the Bay Area

Hi HN, In July (2nd to 14th) we will be 20 students from Aarhus University in Denmark visiting the Bay Area. Half of us are Computer Science Students, the other half are IT Product-Development students. The group contains both undergraduate and graduate students.

The point of our visit is twofold: - To have a nice trip and see some sights - To listen to some interesting relevant talks/presentations, get inspired

So my question is this: What interesting sights are there to see in the Bay Area? We would like it to be relevant to our current studies, as in technically or historically relevant. We've spent quite a bit of time trying to find interesting locations, but it's hard to pick out specific ones without firsthand knowledge.

Also, if you are a company/individual doing exciting stuff that you want to show off to 20 students, you're welcome to message me. Our schedule is pretty full and we have days reserved for sightseeing, but we might still be able to fit in interesting things.

Best regards!

July 4th America (home of some of the most patriotic peoples on earth!) celebrates it's independence from a tyrannical imperialistically imposed monarchy by blowing things up and cooking hot dogs over an open flame and drinking copious amounts of fermented grain.

You picked a great time.
