I get it -- whatever hackers are interested in.

But come on, this isn't even pretending to be intellectually stimulating, it's just an op-ed.

So he's clearly having flashbacks to the battlefield and doesn't trust himself with a gun that he's all too familiar with. I get that. But there was really no argument made here.

He's a college English professor who openly calls the Middle eastern conflicts pointless wars of occupation. And he also tells people to suck it up and sign up if they want an assault weapon and discusses the shit he saw on the battlefield. So basically a demographic checklist for multiple in group tribal appeals. Doesn't mean he's wrong, but this shouldn't be front page stuff. It's a fluff piece.
