Tell HN: Watch SV S03E09 if your users don't get your app

Hello peeps.

I'm sure there's a good chunk of HN users that both watch Silicon Valley (from HBO), and ship cool projects or startups. If you feel like you've been stuck in a situation where your users just don't seem to be grasping, I urge you to watch episode 9 of season 3 with haste.

Richard finally comes to his senses and wakes up to the audience's repeated screams of "redesign the damn pitch". At least that's what I've been mentally screaming at him for the past few episodes.

As obvious as it is to get early feedback, and as much as we all know we should be doing it, there's no chance in hell that everyone here does do it. I know that I'm guilty of it. That focus group scene, as well as the scene at the Erlich's pad afterwards, where Richard budgets the rest of the 600K to guerilla marketing and meetups, was amazing.

It was obvious, and simple, and hopefully it can solidify the idea of how important user testing and feedback is.
