Ask HN: EU Grants

Does anyone here has experience with EU grants like Horizon 2020 ?

I am trying to find some information on startups funded with those funds but couldn't find much in Google.

From what I read\heard, it looks like the "game" is rigged and you're forced to hire some consultants in order to get a chance of actually getting anything.
