It amazes me that Apple gets away with being a user hostile company and users love them anyway (Stockholm syndrome) or because of it (masochists.) Full control of your camera? Surely you must be joking. Analog headphone jack? You don't need that, go buy a new set of headphones or an adapter.

I wonder what happens if you turn on airplane mode.

So if I don't want to be recorded in public I just carry one of these IR transmitters? This is fun.

What would prevent me from putting a simple IR filter in front of my phone?
