So, Trump is not a great candidate for President. He's not even met the low bar of a bad candidate for President. That said...

...that said, it's not okay to feed this sort of witch hunt. From the article itself:

> Jane Doe has not granted any interviews, and we don’t know anything about her background, or Tiffany Doe’s, or the details of their stories.

So, pretty much "we don't know anything about this but are happy to report the terrible allegations". This is not how justice is served. Explicitly acknowledging and then dismissing the statute of limitations is not how justice is served. Further, bringing up old lawsuits that have been settled is not justice.

If the problem is that we feel that there are crimes on which there should be no statute of limitations, that's one thing. If the problem is that people are routinely silenced with non-disparagement clauses (and this happens in business as well as divorces), that's another.

But it's pretty damned dirty to suddenly clutch our pearls and only now care about them when it suits us to try and derail a Trump presidency.
