Ask HN: How can I convert myself into a full-time Android developer

I am from Biomedical engineering background. I started working on Android development in 2014. I have many small projects under my belt. I have some good Python projects too. Now I am thinking about shifting my focus on Android development and market myself accordingly. I have finished a year of my masters program and have another year to go.

What are the things that I can do now to enhance my profile as an Android dev?
