Confused about whether you should insert or swipe your credit card?

What's the trick to knowing? Just read the screen on the terminal :)

If the screen tells you to swipe the card then you must swipe regardless of whether or not you have a chip.

If the screen says insert or swipe the card then you must insert the card if it has a chip.
