I run a logo design agency and we're about to flip our strategy upside down. We specialize in minimal design and have focussed mostly on pre-product startups. While the parent is a little terse, I do think that having your own domain would certainly help your professional image. This is a generous offer- I hope someone takes you up on it.

The quality of the "gift" is suspect if they cant be bothered to first create a brand for themselves.

To me, the amount of work supervising a rebranding entails appears non-trivial. Likewise the costs of an unsuccessful rebranding may be substantial. Which is to say that outside consultant fee waivers do not reduce the cost to near zero.

We actually had some issues earlier this week with attachments, so had to quickly switch to gmail for practical reasons. No worries, we'll switch back again asap :)
