We are currently seeking a Director of Logistics to assist in developing and then implementing our logistics strategy. We have a need to get thousands of parts a day into the hands of our independent technicians in a quick and cost-effective manner. Our software platform connects thousands of people who need repairs with independent technicians who can fix those devices. As our business has evolved, we need to evolve our logistics thinking as well. A key part of the job is to lead the change from our current way to deliver parts to a newer, better way, and guide the product team to build and integrate strong IP into our software platform that enables an awesome customer experience. This is a new role within a growing company, so demonstrated success in a continuously shifting and ambiguous environment is critical, as is the ability to roll up one’s sleeves.

What you’ll be doing: • Assess current logistics processes, practices and activities and organizational structure

• Driving the strategy to meet our changing logistics needs, and implementing that strategy by working with other functional areas of the company

• Ensure the success of our partner relationships by managing day to day logistics activities

• Ensure the daily success of the logistics portion of our core direct-to-consumer business

• Work with partners and internal stakeholders to develop our next-generation logistics

• Key leader in helping us move into new markets with increased logistics challenges

• Work with product team to develop an integrated solution to seamlessly connect technicians with the parts they need, and build out a strong IP portfolio

• Manage the transition from current logistics to a newer logistics solution

• Analyzing project risks, developing risk management plans and working with the teams to mitigate subsequent issues.

What you’ll bring: • BA/BS degree • Minimum of 5 years of relevant operational or consulting experience • Consulting or problem-solving background preferred • Shipping & logistics experience • Deep experience transforming complex operations to scale by leveraging process improvements, technology, thoughtful organization, and analytics • Ability to structure and solve complex problems with minimal assistance • Ability to see the big picture while maintaining close attention to detail • Proclivity for and experience in advanced reporting with tools including Excel • Creativity and the fortitude to pursue and execute new ideas • Strong written and verbal communication, including executive presentation skills • Track record of building strong relationships across departments, regions and external parties • Enthusiastic, motivating team player and leader • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Plusses: • Problem-solving, analytical background from a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, PE fund, or tech company • E-commerce, gig economy, or marketplace experience
