Did we somehow miss the part where all of those Republican voters went, on their own time and motivation, to the primaries and voted Trump into the position?

I don't buy it. It doesn't seem very plausible that a billionaire (especially one whose businesses rely so heavily on his own name as a brand) would completely destroy his own reputation just to solidify the chances of Clinton winning.
