Ask HN: What programs could colleges run to fix skill gaps in your industry?
For example, I notice a large amount of desire for 'Growth Engineers'.
That's not really a trade that's readily taught in academics - it's usually an engineer or statistician who learned about user acquisition/marketing (or the vice versa) and it's mostly learned in the field.
Yet, it could be packaged into a good 3 year degree with courses on statistics, testing methodology, python, SQL etc.
What other ones come to mind for you?
