Asking for a friend (yes) - Social media specialist friend is consulting with a large IT and tech consulting company and asked me for a list of websites where he can become more informed as to the current topics in IT and consulting.

Can anyone suggest some sources? Any level of technical discourse is fine - I'm going to be a middle man in helping them learn more. Thanks.
