Has anyone invented this writing system before? (works best in Chrome) (dhappy.org) 3 points by dysbulic 9y ago ↗ HN
[–] mmastrac 9y ago ↗ This is called Boustrophedon [1]. I don't know if I've seen it for English text before.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boustrophedon
[–] azeirah 9y ago ↗ I know of a very similar writing style whererow one has a gradient from black to darkgrayrow two has a gradient from darkgray to blackrow three has a gradient from black to darkrayrepeating indefinitely. It helps you to move to the right next line. Not sure what it's called though [–] dysbulic 9y ago ↗ With Boustrophedon you don't have to search to find the beginning of next line.
