HN is clearly going downhill. A year ago there were no front-page stories I was uninterested in. Or if there were I don't remember them. Today I see several front-page stories that don't interest me! If people will just be considerate and only vote up stories that I like, we can save this site from its otherwise inevitable downfall. TIA!

I agree that there have been many instances of self promoters and articles of low quality / cred on the homepage

BUT

Everyone has an opinion on an article and they clearly like articles which endup on the homepage.

I suggest: this rant of yours be turned into something more positive "how to keep HN clean" than a reflection of ur tastes.
