Ask HN: Events before/after Startup School?

Does anyone know of any events happening before/after the Startup School conference? I read that there are sometimes pre/post-parties and meetups in an old HN thread, but I haven't heard of anything else going on that weekend and don't want to miss out. Thanks in advance!
