Ask HN: Declining NDAs

Really dislike NDAs for intro talks, always say no to them, but don't have any reasoning beyond if I have to sign some secrecy agreement just to find out how you create value, how're you going to explain it to customers, investors, etc. who also normally don't sign NDAs.

What is the best way to decline NDAs? When does it make sense to sign NDAs? What is a good & bad NDA?

I had luck sending http://www.friendda.org/ for intro talks. Not even signed, just the URL and "can we both agree on this?" in an email.

Thanks, really appreciate the effort to provide your take on the problem.

While I could easily see this working with friends, it not really what I'm looking for.
