After all, people have a right to know the truth!
This looks somewhat like a bounty for dragging up dirt motivated by a dislike of somebody's politics.
Thats pretty much it. Its funny how a lot of the Tech community values personal privacy, but forget that people like Peter Thiel are private citizens too.
Except these are FOIA requests regarding Palantir and (so far) are legitimate queries.
No, it's simply replaying the favor. He's a political operative through his investments and involvement with Palantir. He is fair game for this activity.

Here's another example of how he's engaged in manipulating political dialog: http://www.villagevoice.com/news/conservative-facebook-inves...

Fortunately for Thiel, being right wing is not illegal.

Terrifyingly, I suspect that he contains wrong views.

We can only hope you have the bravery to deal with this monster.

I'll probably get downvoted for this.. but I really like Peter. I think he's a shrewd businessman who would be an asset at my board table, and I would never let his political views, prior investments (Palantir) or failures (like Clarium) skew my perception of his business acumen. I also truly believe that he cares deeply about liberty, and that says a lot to me, because whenever I talk about liberty to people in my life, usually they ask me something along the lines of "whats that?".

With that said, I highly value Peter and I hope I at least get to have one conversation with him during my lifetime.
