It might look useless but nowdays people form opinions if they see the same message a few times.
Those meses tend to get reposted on timeliness, thus they appear in view by millions.
Then again, if your career prospects are so bad that you had to become a journalist, that's more money than you'll ever see in your life. So perhaps it's just a matter of perspective.
