Starting every day with a selfie and a philosophical tweet sounds a lot like narcissistic posturing to me. I don't think they use that language in yoga circles though.
It is unfortunate that most of these self help articles about someone whose found the true way to live start out with the unstated assumption that the first step is to earn enough money to be independently wealthy by an early age.
One other sad point about the world mentioned here is that he's an early riser. Not everyone is but I believe that the world is setup to benefit early risers over people who stay up late.
As someone who has a family and meditates, the best time for me to meditate is early morning before everyone else is up, and anyone who has kids will tell you that they tend to also be early risers so my wake up time keep creeping earlier and earlier.
I think I've said this before, but I really do credit meditation with alot of my success. Having a clear mind is worth 10 IQ points and its the biggest reason why I meditate in the morning vs the evening.
Even if you think meditation is "hokey" or fluff, just try to do it for 5 minutes a day for 21 days. I mean, what's the down side......
Not sure how this article is newsworthy. "Random eccentric person lucks into Wall Street money and can now spend his time being eccentric." Uhh, OK, thanks Bloomberg. My morning is complete.
