Who are these people, and are there any concrete examples of the use case for them? The article seems very speculative and forward-looking without detail.

There are lots of applications of blockchain tech and the law. For example, property registers relating to land transactions are an obvious use case.

Both of those are extremely speculative. I can see the potential for attracting funding using the buzzword "blockchain", of course.
Agreed they're speculative - I'm just pointing out potential applications. I'm sure there will be a legal usage of it at some point though.

Section heading, more informative. The lawyers aren't "focusing on blockchain", they're focusing on legal issues related to applications of the blockchain concept that are, currently, sitting in fuzzy legal territory.
