I'm not aware of the British laws and am not going to Google the sex ads for London -- but those ought to be paid for by renting out half a flat?

Considering the English reputation of being as kinky as the Japanese, those services should exist. (I have no clue if those reputations are deserved.)

I assume you're not going to meet interesting people in a weird way like that anyway. Or maybe you meet too interesting people like that...

(From the divorced people I know, I realize not all people with serious problems regarding relationships are following any cliché. Shudder. So I would expect quite normal people otherwise are doing weird stuff.)

But the article's point was to show weird people. Is this interesting for HN? It isn't exactly news that you will find some extreme people at the outer edges of the Bell curve of 8 million people.

This seems to largely be prostitution (both rent and sex have established value), bartering is ancient.
