Ask HN: Why are you voting for Trump?
The audience of HN is quite unique, and I'm genuinely curious to know the reason why the ones who are voting for Mr. Donald Trump are voting the way they do.

But more than half the people are. And as England learned recently, when everybody votes, the majority tends to win.
As long as you keep labeling people like that for daring to disagree with you things are only going to get worse. Wanting to limit immigration is not racist or xenophobic, wanting to preserve a countries existing culture is not racist or xenophobic and wanting to preserve your quality of life is not racist or xenophobic.
What term would you use for those things? To me, those sound like the definition of xenophobia. If you don't want people from other countries coming to your country and bringing their culture with them, that's the term people will use to describe you.
Trump has been demonized multiple times. But his opponent isn't exactly an angel, and did things that I wouldn't define great or honest in her life.
(edit)
There're a lot of people who are going to vote for Trump just because they think that "Hillary Clinton is worse" - so, not because of Trump's virtues.
If your answer is because you don't get to choose between the ideal candidate and Trump, that's fair enough, why go out of your way to talk down?
