I mean the only thing more ridiculous than the hysteria around this election is the helplessness with which a foreign entity is actually accused of supposedly leaking emails from government officials.
Sometimes I wonder if folks actually get paid to spam every forum, even the most apolitical ones.
There's certainly a risk of some running off with very little evidence, but the trail in this case seems very clear without any election hysteria involved.
They have a detailed storyline, it's true. There's not a lot of actual evidence, though. The story relies a lot on "US intelligence officials believe..." That's a big appeal for trust in people I don't trust.
And I don't see how you can separate it from "election hysteria", since the Clinton people are pushing the narrative for that reason.
