Ask HN: Keyboard or Touchpad

The last few days here have seen a lot of posts and discussion on the topic of moving away from Macbook Pros. A (relatively) minor resistance I've noticed is that nobody makes touchpads as good as Apple. And every time I come across such a complaint, I can't help but think about how bad my experiences have been with Apple laptop keyboards, and the general complaint about the new Butterfly keys being worse.

So I wonder ... if we could choose only between good touchpad, poor keyboard and poor touchpad, good keyboard ... what would HN choose?
