Sorry, but there's no way I'd drag that thing with me to the coffee shop.
I am on the previous-gen 15" MBP. This thing weighs about 4.5 lbs (in addition to being rather thick at 0.71"). At 4 lbs and 0.61", the new model is a major improvement!
When they come out with the next 15" pro model, I hope they manage to get it down to 3.5 lbs and 0.5" total thickness. I'll stand in line to buy that machine!
The key thing I'm looking in a portable is portability.
