The train as left the station...
While i dont believe that this is actual evidence of numbers, i must say that fusion garage are the perfect example of how not to run a company. One fuck-up after another, if they had stayed with Techcrunch i fully believe that Arrington would have kept them on the straight and narrow and been a success.
hmm. I'm sure there's no particular reason they sent it to 64 people. Not like there's anything special about that number.
maybe they are planning to use a 64-bit processor in the next version?
I'd love to see how many of those addresses (if any) end in @techcrunch.com
An e-mail sent off to 64 customers is hardly conclusive evidence that these are the only ones. There are a million reasons why they might have sent e-mails to only those 64.

Maybe these 64 people all complained about something specific and fusion garage wanted to look like they cared, maybe this e-mail is one in a batch of who knows how many, maybe they accidentally cc'ed 64 people and bcc'ed the rest, maybe it's just a sample of 64 to see how many would respond, maybe it's a list of only customers from the Phillipines, maybe maybe maybe.

Agreed, this article isn't worth anyone's time, except to show how not to manage customer email.

Flagged for being misleading.

This doesn't mean anything, except maybe that they should use the BCC field.

Instead of being sensationalistic about it, how about emailing them to let them know about their mistake?
