In a Twitter feed by a Dutch reporter[0], one that has spent many years in the Middle East, he recently wrote that in the Middle East there are essentially 2 major sides. One side exists of nationalists, the other side exists of Islamists. Both sides will often identify as Muslims.
But most nationalists hate Clinton for the mess she has made of the Middle-East through her policy of regime change. This policy has destroyed many countries and many lives. The nationalists hope that under Trump the region can recover. Because Trump has stated he does not want to support the so-called rebels that are active in Syria (funded / equipped currently by the USA, Turkey, Saudi-Arabia, etc…).
