Neighbors can takeover Harman/Kardon Soundsticks Bluetooth speakers from standby

This is ridiculous. Standby mode allows pairing with whatever Bluetooth device is around and asks for it, no security measures. Harman/Kardon customer service admitted there is no way to prevent this. Why are they allowed to sell this?
