Ask HN: Working mobile first TodoList

I am working with a charity working on a social care coordination todolist which needs to be mobile first. I am completely new to web design but willing to learn. I have built the todolist with skeleton css and then with bootstrap but the todolist bits were horrible on mobile with both. Can you recommend any good tutorials or resources for a mobile first todolist which actually works?
