HN: What's the “killer app”/use case that keeps you using something?

I often run into cases where people use a specific piece of tech or equipment because there is one or two really vital functions that it does (either exclusively, or just better than anything else).

So - what is your absolute killer app/use for a piece of tech that you would otherwise abandon?
