The page just gave me a 500 error establishing database connection...ummmm...awkward?
That's shameful and frustrating.
um, 2008? CS3? Gimme a break.
I guess the real question is, have things improved since then?
adobe does have some mistakes in their ui but i think thats a bit dramatic...cs3 really wasn't THAT bad...as for the patches and stuff it sounds like this guy had something wrong with his computer. i hate the automatic adobe upgrades as much as the next guy, but 1hour45min to apply a 58mb patch I don't really think is adobes fault.
I'd have to agree. I've been using CS3 heavily for a few years now, and have installed it on 3 computers during that time. The UI doesn't get in my way, and my install experience has been fine, considering its actually installing 8 programs.
You think Adobe software is frustrating? How about proper character encoding on your damn blog?

PS: I assume this was posted to HN by an angry Apple fan boy, upset at all the anti-Apple backlash today from Steve Jobs' bullshit hypocritical post. Color me shocked! (Yes, I realize the actual blog post is from 2008).
