Tell HN: The hypocrisy of Google's Adwords/Adsense policies

Basically I got banned from Adsense. Of course, I'm a little upset, but if anyone cares I tell you why:

The website (let's call it a blog/investigative amateur journalism, no fake news, don't worry) got banned because one long article discussed LGBT situation in Russia. It is about a group of thugs that catch gay youth and then make photos and humiliate them. Now there were some photos too, but nothing graphic! Adsense banned me because of VIOLENT content.

Ok, I understand. It's their network, their rules. Yes, I know I'm not entitled to anything, but please let me know why the very same network on Youtube displays me ads when I'm listening/watching to rap music video that literally talks about doing cocaine, selling cocaine, killing people and being proud of it.

If I look at these videos, I get lovely family safe Ford advertisements in it and beside it. --

Fuck you Google. I guess singing about murdering people is okay and art, and if you discuss real life events, not heroizing it, is a big no-no.
