Ask HN: GCP for startups or AWS Activate without being in an accelerator?

Currently I'm bootstrapping a PaaS idea of mine without outside capital. I would like to provide a free tier for my users, but that wouldn't be possible for a longer period without being in a cloud provider startup program that would buffer the costs of running infrastructure.

I wouldn't want to sell a big chunk (5-10%) of my startup to an accelerator though, at least at this stage.

So, is there a way to get financial support from a cloud provider without being in an accelerator? Alternatively, are there accelerators that don't require selling shares and relocation?
