Amazon prime video problems with their app update?

Anyone else experiencing problems with the recently updated amazon prime video app (on roku device)? I've been using amazon prime video for the last 6 months or so without issue...then the app updated itself about 2 days ago, and began having issues...and now can't strewam anything via the app; its doesn't even want to start up. It displays an "internet connection" type error...which is poppycock, considering every other streaming app on my roku streams just fine, my investigation into my router shows that my all net connection is fine too (every other node on my network is humming along just fine). Anyone encountering this issue have any tips on resolution?
