This is an opinion post by someone named 'Joel Kotkin' whose main theme appears to be 'those minorities are going to regret voting Democrat'. He also writes "Rather than pushing growth, they have placed their emphasis on ever-increasing subsidies for the poor, including those working in expanding low-wage service industries." and given that the actual data shows that California's GDP is doing just fine (4.2% growth, over 2x the national rate) I'm not sure why anybody would take the rest of the article seriously.
