Ask HN: What email is missing?

There thoughts are kinda philosophical, but I feel like something is missing from the email "experience". Too many times experience feels old, frustrating.

Maybe is because I am young (25years old) and I am more comfortable with ease of the chats.

The experience that I feel most comfortable with when talking about email is gmail, but can't tell exactly why.

I can't understand if these feelings are due to the tech itself or with the various clients or use that people make of it.
