Ask HN: Online marketplace for proofreading?

Hi HN Crowd,

I want to have some documents proofreading. I know that the best place my depend on which kind of document is it (it is a thesis), but I'm more worried about grammar mistakes and typos than the technical stuff.

As I don't have experiences in on-line marketplaces I tried google-fu, but for any decent-looking result I also found quitr convincing posts full of criticism it.

Any advices?

Off the cuff, look through the criticisms and try to figure out how to make your marketplace 10x better. If you can, talk to the people who made those criticisms directly to get even more information. These can even become your first users.

Also, users should probably be matched based on language and other similarities. For example, an architecture student would match with architecture grads who did programs in english.
