The "web" link doesn't seem to be working either, nor does accessing the article from an Incognito Chrome window.

I would not be surprised if the Wall Street Journal has changed its 'bypass' algorithm to recognize patterns of 'social sharing' and tuned its paywall accordingly.

For example by querying browser history or looking at frequency of Google referrals or via some other dark art of SEO.
