Very interesting article, is this the same protocol that is used by the iPhone headsets?

Thoroughly enjoyed this Hacker news -- loved the analog/digital blend of audio, oscillator, circuit board, and micro-controller code to understand and emulate the original.

This is why Canada needs to have DRM laws. If any random Canadian can reverse engineer headphones who knows where it will end - we may all be forced to listen to Celine Dion.

I love it when people spend the time/effort to do these sort of things!
