Ask HN: What kind of small project can I undertake now that I have free time?

I´m having a lot of free time lately, and I´d like to start a project. I would prefer to make it an open source project, or it could be a little service for free.

Currenly I have 3 free hours per day, plus around 12 hours on weekends. I'm not sure about the length of the project, but something that could take me around 3 months would be fine.

I don't have much of a "previous-work" porfolio to show, but I'm the creator of rainychat.com, and I have good experience with web development overall.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
