He wasn't just sitting for 24 hours, he had been pulling multiple 20+ hour marathons in the same week. Twitch doesn't need to be a parent, but it takes very little effort to send notifications reminding people to go to sleep.
I heard of a case where Twitch banned a guy who was streaming for 42 hours straight because of health risks - he was feeling so bad he was puking on stream.
I don't think he was banned for streaming a marathon, I think he was banned because him mom prevented him from getting back on the computer, and was thusly banned for abandoning a live stream.
Many streamers perform these marathons frequently with no problem. Many people drop dead of x condition at all ages. There is zero reason to believe there is any correlation at this time.
