Does anybody know a company that spontanoulsy funds fancy thesis-projects?

Basically I want to switch the topic of my thesis, but the secondary idea uses a whole lot of hardware. You can find a detailed description at https://www.gofundme.com/bathesis. I'm not asking you guys to donate (feel free to do so anyway ;) ), but what companies I could ask for funding this project.
