Really good pick, unlike the last administration he's picking competent people not affirmative action hires.

While this is better than nominating Jim O'Neill, it's still pretty worrisome. The extreme partisanship of Trump's nominees is, as far as I can tell, pretty unique. It's not even that he's nominating exclusively Republicans, he's nominating people with fairly extreme right-wing beliefs.
