Sources? The porn industry has almost always been at the bleeding edge of content distribution aside from the methods outside of the scope of their control (i.e. p2p).
If it weren't for Sony and later Warner Brothers respectively we would have had Betamax over VHS and HD-DVD over Blu-ray.
My first thought was the iPad/iPhone.. I assume they are currently using flash -- does this mean that this is the first big pornsite available on Apples gear? I guess Safari needs to be re-rated.
I doubt this will help browser upgrades. The people who don't upgrade browsers are "parents", older people who use the internet to check the news, chicks who only use the internet for facebook and most of all; enterprise users.
None of these are really in the "must get the latest in porn" category.
Im always impressed how quick the porn industry is to adopt new technologies. Good for them, they have their heads screwed on more than some tech outfits.
