What is possible, in terms of building a complete website ion xHTML?

My friend asked me if it was possible to program her website in xHTML - as she hates JScript doesn't have time to learn anything complicated (20-hour learning rule) -- http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=114013

So, in summary, does anyone have anything on xHTML or some simple programming language as alternative ?
