Been working on getting my business going for a year now. I legally registered it just a few months ago, but started developing the products for it about a year ago.

I even opened up a business bank account and a Paypal business account (currently $0) to keep my personal life and my business separate for tax purposes.

I developed about 5 different web apps, completed 2 of them, and am in the process of completing the other 3. I also have about 3 or 4 more projects in the design stages.

My business specializes in making life easier for individuals and companies at an affordable price... performing simple tasks and getting things done with emphasis on productivity, of course.

After having built a free web page creation platform called MyPost ( https://mypost.io ) and sending it off to the Internet, it is now used around the world. From the analytics data, Russia, Japan, Phillipines, Brazil, and many other places. That got me thinking about other things I could create that people all over the world might find useful. Just analyzing the amount of people using it, how it is being used, and where it is being used led me to understand that people actually like my products and pushed me to create new products, though my newer ones will not be fully free.

I try to keep everything I do simple and easy to use. My sister is not so tech-savvy, so I normally use her as my beta tester. If she can't figure something out, I make it easier and simpler. This is how MyPost was designed. Everything she stumbled with and asked me questions about: I revised until she had no more questions and started using it on her own without any input from me. I continue designing this way and let her test everything.

So hopefully I'll be able to launch some of my official products in a month or two.

What has been taking so long you ask? I am still working my regular day job so the business is my side business. I know even after launch I'll probably run into some problem, but its all about trial and error and getting there! Soon!
