Ask HN: Does your employer provide you mobile devices?

The question is mostly for mobile application developers, but every IT people can answer as well.

I worked at two different companies and know many other iOS/Android developers who are provided mobile devices by their employers even if they can use emulators/simulators to work.

Now, I moved to France and I am told that here it is kind of normal not to provide mobile devices to application developers.

How does that work for you?
