Rewrite everything in rust (transitiontech.ca)

happened just yesterday on the Go mailing list, in a thread about transpiling Go to C++:

Probably a weird and orthogonal suggestion : transpile go-->rust and eliminate the gc overhead without dealing with the horrible syntax, if that is even feasible..

One post about how you actually rewrote a thing in Rust (like ripgrep or exa) is worth 50 that suggest this general idea.

2016. And yawn. Another post that someone actually made a suggestion in a place which is intended to make suggestions, because it's a suggestion you don't like/don't understand/don't whatever. Just boring.
